I am a marathon runner who has made the switch to biking because of an orthopedic problem. I tried 2 other brands and the Madone 5.2 was by far the best. It is very light and shifts incredibly smooth. I am hoping to race with it next year when my bike fitness gets there.

This is an ultimate sweet ride. Traded in an '06 5.2 Madone for '12 5.2 Madone. Was blown away by the difference. Lighter, faster, handles with ease. Road the same course that I rode with my '06 that included cobblestones and climbs. The difference was amazing. Absorbed all of the shock of riding on stones. This bike wants to ride and climb. Quick accelerations and superb handling and cornering.

I bought the Madone 5.2 after buying a Neuvation FC100 roadbike. What a difference! For just a few more dollars you get a much, much better bike that is well engineered, whisper quiet and a pleasure to ride. If you are considering a new bike, be sure to test ride a Madone. Don't waste your time on no-name bargains that will drive your crazy with creaks and groans.

I took this bike out for a 30 minute spin the day that I got and ended up spending 2 1/2 hours on it. Very smooth ride. Shifts well and is very fast. I just ready for some warmer weather to be on it every day!

The bike is fast and very stable. Stock bike comes with excellent components at a great price. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the folks at High Gear Millburn, NJ are the best. Great customer service, knowledge, custom fitting and selection. I must have test road six or seven different road bikes before the Modone 5.2 called my name. Give it a try you will not be sorry.
